How to Cancel a ShortMax Subscription (October 2026)
On ShortMax the subscription is called a pass (weekly, monthly or annual, according to its terms), and it auto-renews 24 hours before it expires. You can cancel the renewal any time before that charge goes through. ShortMax's terms point to the "About Subscription" section in the app for the exact method. How to cancel ShortMax on iPhone or iPad
Head to Settings, tap your own name, open Subscriptions and choose ShortMax. Then tap Cancel Subscription, scrolling down if you don't see it straight away.
Because the renewal fires a full day before the pass ends, cancel at least 24 hours ahead. If ShortMax isn't listed, find the "receipt from Apple" email for it. When there's no Apple receipt, Apple's advice is to check your card statement to see which company is billing you.
How to cancel ShortMax on Android
On your Android phone, open Google Play, find ShortMax in your subscriptions and tap Cancel subscription, then follow what's on screen. On a laptop, click Manage beside ShortMax in your subscriptions at play.google.com and pick a reason when asked.
How to cancel on the website or a direct payment
ShortMax's terms say a pass works in the app and on the website, but they don't describe a separate way to cancel a web purchase beyond the in-app "About Subscription" section. If you paid on the website, manage it in the account where you paid, and write to shorttv.service@shorttv.live, the support address in the terms and on both store listings. On the App Store, ShortMax also tells users to reach it in the app under Profile, then Feedback.
The terms also say passes bought through ShortMax on TikTok Mini Programs don't sync with the app or website. That's a separate subscription, so canceling one doesn't cancel the other.
What happens after you cancel

Can you get a refund?
Rarely, by ShortMax's rules. Its terms and its Recharge Agreement say refunds aren't given unless the product is unusable for a reason on ShortMax's side. If that's your case, contact ShortMax right away with the recharge details, the reason and proof, and it will check its records.
Store refunds are a separate track. Apple takes requests at reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in, request a refund, choose a reason and the ShortMax charge, and submit. Apple says not every purchase qualifies and replies usually come within 24 to 48 hours. Google Play takes them on play.google.com through Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history, then Report a problem. A refund may be possible within 48 hours of purchase. Later than that, Google tells you to contact the developer.
